Cooper came from a litter of 4 pups. Together with mother, his 2 sisters and 1 brother, he was rescued by a film crew in Limuru (Kenya). They were brought to the KSPCA (Kenya Society for the Protection and Care of Animals) and once the mother had gained enough weight, she was spayed and vaccinated and returned to the owner.

As TNR Trust often assists the KSPCA with finding homes for rescued dogs and cats this batch of little rescues came to us once they were old enough to be separated from the mother. They were born June 2017 and a handful! But after being settled in their temporary foster home, our volunteers started training them. They graduated with flying colours: basic commands, leash walking and were eventually even used to walking on a busy road. All four of them also had built-in instincts in acting as guard dogs!

Cooper is the explorer of the litter. He loves trotting around the garden, but also enjoys cuddling and snuggling! He finally got adopted and, after doing a housevisit, we saw he settled in perfectly in his new forever home.

Good luck Cooper, and we hope you can explore many more places together with your new family!

TNR stands for Trap, Neuter and Release. Our Motto is "Community Health through Animal Welfare" which we aim to achieve by vaccinating against Rabies, educating on Rabies Awareness and spay/neuter to maintain a manageable dog/cat population in and around Nairobi.
