DORA

DORA foster parent extraordinaire!
Dora is very special in her endearing behaviour towards any newcomers who are often nervous or depressed on arrival. She greets everyone in the morning when they go out in the yard -large and small, cats and dogs. She plays with all the dogs until everyone is exhausted.

She LOVES playing with the bigger dogs, but is just as good playing by herself with a toy. In the house she is calm. She is good on the leash. She is is fine with children too. She must be with another medium size dog so she sheds her energy.

She is a very gentle dog but an excellent guard dog too. She is spayed and micro chipped and 1 year old. She deserves her own family. Would you like to be the lucky one?

CHEBET

Being a keen runner we called her Chebet. She is the new clown in the group and would be very happy to partner with a running adopter! She is totally friendly and confident and loves scooting around the compound.

She is small medium (15kg) so she can be in an apartment, but only if you will spend a lot of time walking her. A compound would allow her to shed her energy.

She is spayed, 1.5 yrs and the best of local beauty.

FARAH

Farah, our pretty queen was picked up from Corner Baridi with her pups. She spent some time learning to be confident at KSPCA. Since she arrived at TNR, she has turned
rapidly into a keen and loving dog who loves being with people.

At 45cm at the shoulder she is a good fit for people in an apartment. She is fine with other dogs and very sweet with people. She is spayed and about 3 yrs.

PACO

A Special Adopter Wanted

At times, we assist KSPCA with dogs that need extra special care and time to recover from their ordeals.

Paco came from an abusive home together with several other dogs. He was very frightened of people and was worried about being touched.
He is only 9 months and now that he has learned that people can be okay he is a sweetie. He enjoys walks and loves to play with his fellow fosters. It will take a while before he will be a confident dog, but he is making progress every day.
Paco would like to go to a home with older people and no small children. He needs a calm, patient and understanding owner, who is experienced with dogs. It would be best if you already have a confident dog as this will help him a lot.

MALAIKA

Adopt a three-legged dog? Why would you want to do that?

Malaika says that 3 or 4 legs doesn’t make any difference: “I love to play with other dogs and toys. I chase the Hadeda ibises as I am very agile. In fact it is so much better to have 3 good legs than 4 of which one was broken and so painful.

I have been quite fearful of people because I was in pain for 4 months and people chased me away. I am sure that I liked people a lot before this nasty episode. I have learned a lot in the last few weeks. I hope to be full member of the dog society soon. I am young and keen to be part of your life. I promise I won’t disappoint you.

An experienced dog owner would be ideal so I can work with you to be a star!”

ALFIE

Alfie was found alone without siblings or a mother on the street – a good Samaritan rescued him.
He was born end of January and, after a rough start, he is growing into a strong, healthy, happy puppy!
He would love to find a home – let us know if you think he would fit in at your house!

COCO, BEAR AND FLORA

FloraCocoBear

Bear is a boy and thinks he’s the boss of the group. Really he’s a big softy and needs cuddles the most.

Flora is a girl and is the most independent but still loves a cuddle, just gets a bit overwhelmed by her siblings. Really sweet-natured and so pretty!

Coco is also a girl and despite being the smallest is definitely the bravest! Loves scaling great heights and chasing her brother’s tail.

These 3 lovely kittens were born late January.  They’re all lovely and enjoy playing together so much. They would love to find a home together but could go separately as well.  Their foster mom says they keep each other occupied and might be less trouble if they had a sibling to keep them busy!!

CHEZO

Chezo is a super playful female kitten looking for a family of her very own! She was born in December and is ready for adoption!
