The Labrador Retriever Club of East Africa is a specialist club but also offers membership to anyone wanting to train any type of dog in obedience or the Gundog disciplines.

Membership charges are:

  1. Joining fee: Ksh 2,500 (to be paid once only)
  2. Membership: Ksh 1,500 (to be paid annually)
Being a member of the LRCEA allows you to join in on “doggy weekends” away, which are a great chance to get out of Nairobi with the entire family.

Members can attend dog training every Wednesday from 10:00-12:00 at the Kennel Club Show grounds on Kibera Drive. Young or old, pure breed or local breed: all dogs are welcome at training. Training covers general obedience and social skills for the dog, for free. The Labrador Retriever Club also organizes Good Citizen Dog Training and exams.
