Education

Education

The aim of the TNR Trust is to combine education on animal welfare with affordable vaccinations and spay/neutering to curb the burgeoning dog and cat population in Kenya and reduce the spread of infectious or fatal diseases such as rabies. This will in turn reduce human mortality rate and improve the living conditions for local community members

Training of Trainers (TOT)

This is targeted to volunteer trainers drawn from various fields who go through a one day training at TNR Trust. It equips them to conduct training sessions for both children and adults at either their work place or their communities.

Children Training (6-12 years)

This is an education program for children between 6-12 years broadly covering steps to take when approaching an unknown dog/cat, bitten by a cat/dog and animal welfare and care. This program takes approximately 40-45 minutes for every 10-15 children!

Adult Training

This training program targets teenagers from 13 years to adults of any age. It aims at equipping the learners on steps to take if bitten by a dog/cat and how to foster dog and cat welfare
